CCTP01 : Introduction to Podcasting
Course Description
This one day workshop is aimed at any mac users needing to gain an
understanding of podcasting technologies and podcast creation. This session will primarily focus on audio and enhanced podcasts created using free tools provided with the Apple iLife suite.
The workshop will cover the basics of podcasting including an appreciation of the various podcasting technologies available, choosing podcasting equipment, planning and designing podcasts, podcast creation, podcast editing and publication. The workshop will include both demonstrations and hands on exercises for the delegates to experience just how easy podcasting can be and how podcasts can be created and published.
Uniquely, this session is delivered by one of the top UK podcasters - Don McAllister - who has been podcasting since the phenomenon started. Regularly listed as on of the top 20 technology podcasters in iTunes both in the US and the UK, Don can speak authoritatively on the whole area of podcast creation and production since becoming one of the few full time podcasters in the world.
Who Should Attend
This course is aimed at all levels and is for anyone who wants to learn about podcasting in general or is thinking about creating their own podcasts.
Pre-Requisities
None! - No prior knowledge of podcasting is assumed. No prior experience with the Mac is required but a 1 day "Introduction to Mac" workshop is available if required.
