CCTP01 : Introduction to Podcasting

Course Description

This one day workshop is aimed at any mac users needing to gain an
podcasting
understanding of podcasting technologies and podcast creation. This session will primarily focus on audio and enhanced podcasts created using free tools provided with the Apple iLife suite.

The workshop will cover the basics of podcasting including an appreciation of the various podcasting technologies available, choosing podcasting equipment, planning and designing podcasts, podcast creation, podcast editing and publication. The workshop will include both demonstrations and hands on exercises for the delegates to experience just how easy podcasting can be and how podcasts can be created and published.

Uniquely, this session is delivered by one of the top UK podcasters - Don McAllister - who has been podcasting since the phenomenon started. Regularly listed as on of the top 20 technology podcasters in iTunes both in the US and the UK, Don can speak authoritatively on the whole area of podcast creation and production since becoming one of the few full time podcasters in the world.
